Preparation
Four details, and we can say something concrete
You need not prepare anything to call. If you write, though, these four points save a round of questions.
Which systems are to be connected?
Controller, database, ERP, MES, scale, printer – manufacturer and type are enough. We will tell you whether there is a connection for it.
Which way does the data flow?
Read only, write only or both ways. That decides the setup – and what is touched in the machine.
How often and how much?
One order per shift is a different matter from one reading per second at 200 places. A rough order of magnitude is enough.
Where should it run?
On a server in the plant, in a virtual machine, in Docker or in Kubernetes – connubes runs platform-independently.
